Meditation to Let It Go

"The process of growth through Kundalini Yoga is a natural unfolding of your own nature.  The blocks to that growth are your attachments to the familiarity of the past, and your fear of the expanded Self.   (let's all make a pact to get over the fear of the expanded self and grow together!)   As you practice Kundalini, you grow.  Like a snake you will need to shed old skins to be more of who you are.  You will need to examine certain attitudes, behaviors, and emotional habits.  You will gain new perspectives, capacities, and habits that can support your expanded awareness."

-the Aquarian Teacher We meditated with Ksepana Mudra (pronounced Say-pana), pictured below.  All fingers are interlaced except for the index fingers.

There's a guided visualization specifically for this mudra from the book "the Mudras" by Gertrud Hirschi:

Sit with the mudra and imagine you are sitting on an elevated stone in a stream.  Breathe in through the nose and out of the mouth, placing full concentration on the exhale. While you exhale, visualize so much sweat pouring from every pore that a rivulet flows out of you and into the stream (take 7-15 breaths here).  Then, visualize washing yourself in the cooling water of the stream.  Place your hands on your thighs.  Turn toward the warming sun and let it dry you.  Open yourself once again for the fresh energy that fills you anew when you inhale.    Affirmation: Spent energy in my body, mind, and soul flows away from me, and I thankfully accept all things that refresh me.
